A fentanyl bust has landed both Vermont and New Hampshire residents behind bars

A fentanyl bust has landed both Vermont and New Hampshire residents behind bars. Lebanon Police say they got a tip about suspicious drug activity at 9 High Street in Lebanon. Surveillance at the apartment complex — in partnership with the New Hampshire Drug Task Force — eventually led to a raid of one of the units. Police say they seized roughly 600 bags of fentanyl and $1,000 in cash inside the apartment. They say the bust would not have happened without the tip. Those arrested include Shannon Barry, 36, of Turnbridge; Kaleb McCullough, 44, of Chelsea; Jose Baret, 32, of Hartford, Connecticut; Cynthia Waugh, 60; Kelly Blankenship, 45, both from Lebanon. They all face a variety of charges including possession, transportation, and sale of controlled drugs.
