A Groton man that Bradford Police suspect was driving under the influence was ordered out of a vehicle after being found slumped over in the driver’s seat next to a rifle on the passenger seat on Wednesday morning. Douglas Reynolds, 35, was also reportedly in possession of a pistol and had been sitting on a .22 revolver in the car’s driver seat. A report by Bradford Police Sgt. Police found Reynolds slumped over in the driver’s seat and saw the rifle next to him. While taking him into custody police found a pistol on his person, and the revolver was discovered in the driver’s seat. Also found in Reynolds’ possession, Sgt. Shaffer reported, were suspected heroin and crystal meth. He was cited to appear in Court on March 13 where he is scheduled to be arraigned on charges of DUI and drug possession.
