A Lyndonville man awaits arraignment in jail, facing multiple charges

A Lyndonville man awaits arraignment in jail, facing multiple charges, including aggravated domestic assault and lewd behavior. Alan Tanguay, 31, was arrested on Monday by Vermont State Police and is being held in Northeast Correctional Complex for lack of $2500 bail. According to state police report, troopers were alerted to a domestic disturbance in Lyndonville on Sunday night. The investigation determined that Tanguay had entered a residence without permission and assaulted a family member. Tanguay proceeded to threaten the family member and act in a lewd and lascivious manner,  State Police reported. State police found him the next day at the Cumberland Farms in Lyndonville, where he was taken into custody.
