Dump Truck Crash Slows Traffic on I 91 Near Derby After Axle Failure Causes Rollover
Police say a tractor-trailer crash slowed traffic on Interstate 91 in the Derby area on Monday morning. They say just after 10 a.m., a dump truck carrying sand rolled over in the median on I-91 south just after 10 a.m. The Agency of Transportation says an axle on the truck failed which caused the driver to lose control. Driver Kevin Reindeau, 33, of Wheelock, had minor injuries and was treated by first responders at the scene. The cleanup lasted for several hours and slowed traffic in both the northbound and southbound lanes. The road has fully reopened
