Enfield Man Arrested After Assaulting Officer at West Lebanon Walmart
A New Hampshire man is behind bars after police say he assaulted an officer. Lebanon Police spotted Joshua Champney, 35, of Enfield, at the West Lebanon Walmart. While trying to arrest the known fugitive, police say he took off in the parking lot. During a fight, which involved the officer firing a taser, police say Champney bit the officer and tried to gouge their eyes out. Police say Champney had a stolen gun and faces multiple outstanding warrants. The officer was treated and released from the hospital.
