Fairlee Woman Charged as Getaway Driver in Lyndonville Robbery
A Vermont woman has been charged in connection with a January robbery at a Mobil Mart in Lyndonville. Michaela Plante, 28, of Fairlee, is accused of being the getaway driver for her boyfriend, Dalton Kraft, who allegedly robbed the store at knifepoint. Surveillance footage and tips from the public helped authorities track Kraft down within days. Plante was cited for her role and will appear in court on May 12. Meanwhile, Kraft remains in custody for violating probation from previous robberies, including multiple armed hold-ups in 2020. Detective Kyle Fecher of the Vermont State Police thanked the public for their assistance in solving the case.
