Federal authorities have charged James Plunkett

Federal authorities have charged James Plunkett, 39, of Burlington, with bank robbery for allegedly robbing the M&T Bank in Burlington on Oct. 26. The feds say he got away with $683. He will remain behind bars as the case progresses. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison. Police say Plunkett robbed three Burlington banks and one in Winooski. He was arrested by police last week.
