Former Vermont Lawmaker Janssen Willhoit Charged with Domestic Assault in St Johnsbury

A Vermont defense attorney and former state lawmaker faces domestic assault charges. State police say they were called to a family fight on East Village Road in St. Johnsbury on Monday morning. Authorities say Janssen Willhoit, 46, of St. Johnsbury, injured a member of his household. Willhoit is a former Caledonia County state legislator. He was booked, then released.
