Hikers can take in 360-degree views

Atop Bromley Mountain’s new observation tower, hikers can take in 360-degree views of southern Vermont. The original wood tower was built in the 1960s but was taken down due to safety concerns 12 years ago. A new 40-foot steel tower now sits in its place atop Bromley Ski Resort. Visitors can access the tower via hiking or chairlift and enjoy views of other ski resorts like Stratton. Members of the Green Mountain Club say it’s an opportunity for Vermonters and visitors to reminisce. The lift to access the tower is open every day from now until mid-October.
