Lyndonville Police Investigating Vandalism at Powers Park After Weekend Damage Reported
Police are investigating a report of vandalism at Powers Park, according to the Lyndonville Police Department. The Village Improvement Society, a nonprofit group that operates the town-owned recreation facility, reported that the park was vandalized over the weekend. A portable toilet was pushed into a swamp and other items were damaged or destroyed. Police Chief Jack Harris said Monday that an investigation is ongoing. He noted the vandalism had not been reported through official channels and urged community members to use the 911 system to report crimes promptly, regardless of the time or circumstances.
