Maine Man Arrested at Canadian Border on Colorado Warrant
A man from Maine was arrested at the Canadian border in Canaan on Wednesday when authorities there discovered an arrest warrant from Colorado related to an alleged $500,000 money laundering crime. Kyle Dunn, appeared by video from inside the jail for a court hearing in the St. Johnsbury courthouse on Thursday to discuss his extradition back to Colorado to face justice on felony crimes of money laundering and theft. Dunn was trying to cross the border from Canada into the U.S. when the officials discovered the warrant against him. They contacted the Essex County Sheriff’s Department, and Sheriff Trevor Colby responded and took him into custody on the warrant.
