Members of CALEX and a St. Johnsbury firefighter were at the scene of a crash

Members of CALEX and a St. Johnsbury firefighter were at the scene of a crash near the intersection of Lackey Hill Road and Spaulding Road in St. Johnsbury on Thursday. Prior to the arrival of state police, the St. Johnsbury Fire Department and CALEX,  the occupants of the overturned Ford Expedition with a New York license plate had fled the scene. A witness reported seeing multiple people get into a passing vehicle and head south on Spaulding Road. Anyone with information related to the crash is asked to contact state police at 802-748-3111.
