Newport Center Woman Faces Embezzlement Charges Over $60,000 from Westfield Fire District

A Newport Center woman faces charges for allegedly embezzling thousands of dollars from the Westfield Fire District. Police say Kelly Randall, who was the fire district’s treasurer, wrote a number of unauthorized checks and deposited them into her personal bank account. Troopers say she stole more than $60,000 between 2020 and 2024.  She was cited and will face a judge next month.
