Report Confirms Teresa Youngblut Fired Fatal Shot That Killed Border Agent Maland in Coventry Incident

A new report indicates whose bullet killed U.S. Customs and Border Patrol Agent David Maland back in January. The summary of the incident provided on Wednesday by USCBP indicates, the bullet fired by Teresa Youngblut led to the death of Maland. Youngblut, along with Felix Bauckholt, was stopped by agents on I-91 near Coventry on January 20. According to federal officials, Youngblut got out of her car and fired at the agents, hitting only one. One agent returned fire, striking Youngblut in the arm and leg. The feds say Baukholt went for his gun, so the same agent fired again, hitting him twice in the chest and killing him. Maland, who was shot in the neck, died from his injuries. Youngblut has been linked to a cult-like group called the Zizians. The group has also been linked to killings in Pennsylvania and California. Youngblut still does not face a federal murder charge, but this week, federal authorities asked the court for more time to gather evidence and possibly new charges.
