St. Albans Teen Arrested on Attempted Homicide Charges After Striking Victim with Car
A St. Albans teen is facing attempted homicide charges after allegedly hitting another teen with a car on Saturday. St. Albans police say 19-year-old Nathan Early was involved in an altercation with a 16-year-old at the intersection of Barlow and Upper Welden streets. Witnesses say Early first threatened the teen with a large knife before getting into his car and intentionally striking the victim, causing serious injuries. Early fled the scene, but police later tracked him down at an address on South Main Street. He was arrested and is being held without bail on charges of first-degree attempted homicide. The 16-year-old remains in stable condition at the hospital. Early was scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
