The Community Housing Forum is hosting a presentation

The Community Housing Forum is hosting a presentation by John Davis on Monday, September 16 about community land trusts. A Community Land Trust is a community-based organization that owns land and develops permanently affordable homes and other lasting community assets. The Community Housing Forum will also introduce Headwaters Community Trust, a new CLT. John Davis is a co-founder of Burlington Associates, and has spent over 40 years assisting CLTs and other nonprofit organizations engaged in the production and stewardship of permanently affordable housing and community development. He is a co-founder of the International Center for Community Land Trusts, and author of The Community Land Trust Handbook. John Davis will present for 30 minutes starting at 6 p.m., and be available until 7 for questions, after which the organizers of Headwaters Community Trust will be available to continue the conversation until 7:30. The Community Housing Forum is hosted by East Craftsbury Presbyterian Church, 1773 East Craftsbury Road in Craftsbury.
