Veteran actor Treat Williams tragically died at 71

Veteran actor Treat Williams, renowned for his roles in “Everwood” and “Hair”, tragically died at 71 following a motorcycle collision in Vermont. Williams collided with a Honda SUV, resulting in critical injuries and he was airlifted to Albany Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. The SUV driver sustained minor injuries. Vermont State Police are continuing their investigation into the crash. Williams’ agent, Barry McPherson, expressed his devastation at the loss, hailing Williams as an “actor’s actor” beloved by filmmakers. The Connecticut-born actor made his debut in 1975 and appeared in over 120 TV and film roles during his near 50-year career.
