Richford Woman Charged with Medicaid Fraud for 14000 in False Care Claims

A Richford woman faces charges of Medicaid fraud. The Vermont Attorney General’s Office says Ayla Atherton, 30, submitted reports on and was paid upwards of $14,000 for care she didn’t actually provide. She pleaded not guilty on Tuesday and was released on conditions.
