A man and woman from Orleans were arrested by state polic

A man and woman from Orleans were arrested by state police for alleged lewd conduct at Orleans Elementary School. A report by Trooper Kimberly Harvey states that on April 16 Forrest Rathburn, 28, and Jamie Wells, 44, “were in an entranceway to the school and were openly and consensually committing an act of gross lewd and lascivious behavior.” Police were called to the school but the couple was gone when they got there. Later, they were located, arrested and lodged at Northern State Correctional Facility due to a lack of $1,000 bail. They are due to be arraigned on tomorrow in Orleans Superior Court. In addition to the charge of lewd and lascivious conduct, Rathburn and Wells are charged with possession and control of regulated drugs and disorderly conduct.
