A Barnet woman pleaded guilty to charges of animal abuse

A Barnet woman pleaded guilty to charges of animal abuse on Friday in Caledonia Superior Court. Sherry L. Barrett, 43, appeared before Judge Michael Kainen to resolve charges related to the animal cruelty allegations at her home on Anderson Street. She pleaded to four counts of cruelty to an animal and one violation of release conditions. She was given a furlough sentence of zero to four years.
