A local woman was due in Caledonia County Court on Monday after an alleged incident

 A local woman was due in Caledonia County Court on Monday after an alleged incident on Eastern Avenue. Krystal Sharp, 38, of St. Johnsbury, was taken into custody on April 21 on three active warrants and as a fugitive from justice. She was also charged with false info and false identity. The alleged incident began when St. Johnsbury Police Dept. Cpl. Steven Hartwell informed Police Cpl. George Johnson that Hartwell was on the phone with a female at 48 Eastern Avenue who identified herself as Annemarie Sharp.  Cpl. Hartwell stated that he recognized the female’s voice to be that of Krystal Sharp. Krystal Sharp had multiple active warrants two in Vermont, one from N.H. Johnson and St. Johnsbury PD Officer McKendrick Johnson responded to 48 Eastern Avenue. And observed Krystal Sharp hastily walking away from 48 Eastern Avenue and nervously looking over her shoulder.” Sharp noticed the police cruiser and pull up her hoodie to hide her identity. Ofc. Johnson approached Krystal Sharp but Sharp stated that her name was Anne. A check showed that Krystal Sharp had two active warrants out of the state of Vermont and an active arrest warrant out of Grafton County Superior Court in New Hampshire, with Grand Jury Indictment.
