As part of a collaborative investigation with Berlin police, Northumberland police have arrested a Glover man for felony drug possession. Shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday, Brannan Lacourse, 32, was taken into custody after a motor vehicle stop was made along Route 110. He is charged with two Class B felony counts of possessing a controlled drug, one Class A felony count of possession with intent to distribute, two Class A misdemeanor counts of transporting drugs in a motor vehicle, two Class A misdemeanor counts of disobeying a police officer, and a misdemeanor count of driving after suspension. Lacourse, who has also lived in Colebrook, according to police records, was processed at the Northumberland police station and bail was set at $500. Court records in Vermont show that Lacourse, in January 2023, was charged at Caledonia County Court with felony possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl and driving under the influence of drugs.
