Barre City students got some unexpected time off

October 31, 2024October 31, 2024 moo_staff

Barre City students got some unexpected time off Wednesday due to a water main break. City officials say a couple of pipes broke and part of Prospect Street washed out, leaving two inches of water was left in the maintenance area. Part of Prospect Street remains closed for construction. School was canceled for the pre-k — through 12th-grade students but is expected to resume today. A boil water notice is in effect for the west side of the city.
