Developer Launches 17 Million Workforce Housing Project in Lyndon

“Somebody needs to stick their neck out and take a risk,” said developer Bud Stevens. With that vision, Stevens is moving forward with a large-scale workforce housing development in Lyndon, expected to be the town’s largest in at least three decades. Stevens plans to begin construction later this year on the 39-unit Miller’s Run Development on Route 122. He aims to complete and sell the first four condominium units by late summer to demonstrate the project’s viability. A larger 96-unit plan was initially proposed but later scaled down to 39 units, which received local and state approval. Stevens has since acquired full ownership. The development will consist of one-, two- and three-bedroom units for sale at competitive prices. Stevens said the estimated $17 million Miller’s Run project is being financed entirely through private investment, without state or federal assistance.
