Fire tore through a home in Sutton on Monday afternoon. The Sutton fire chief said crews were called to the home at 886 Route 5 at about 12:30 p.m. No one was home. A passerby got the dogs out, but other small pets inside were killed. It took six departments about an hour to contain the fire. The chief says they’re still working to determine the cause but they know it started in the garage. They do not consider the fire suspicious at this point.
