One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a fire department truck

 One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a fire department truck on Route 16 in New Hamphire at approximately 11:30 a.m. Dec. 17. Linda Gauthier, 54, of Gorham was declared dead on scene after the southbound 2011 Silverado she was traveling in was struck by an Errol Fire Department, 2017 Silverado truck, which was heading north. The driver of Gauthier’s vehicle, 60-year-old Richard Gauthier, was taken to Dartmouth Medical Center with serious life-threatening injuries. The operator of the Errol Fire truck, 63-year-old Bradley Eldridge, was transported to Memorial Hospital in Conway for suspected serious injuries. N.H State Police Troop F was assisted on the scene by local Fire and EMS, along with the Jackson and Gorham Police Departments. The cause of the accident was not immediately known. The incident is under investigation.
