Police seized a gun from a Northeast Kingdom man
Police seized a gun from a Northeast Kingdom man accused of criminal threatening. Cornell Letourneau, 75, of Westfield, pleaded not guilty to the charge in court on Tuesday. Police say Letourneau sent a threat of serious injury or death in the mail to two other Westfield residents. Because of how serious those threats were, a Supreme Court judge granted an extreme risk protection order that prohibits Letourneau from buying, having or receiving guns or explosives. He was released on a number of conditions, including that he not contact the victims in the case.
