Vermont troopers say they stopped two drivers, driving the wrong way on Vermont interstates on Wednesday. Vermont troopers say they stopped a wrong-way driver on Interstate 89 in St. Albans. State police say they got numerous reports of a driver going south in the northbound lanes between exits 21 and 20 at about 11:15 a.m. They pulled over Daniel Bartlett, 79, of Swanton. Police say he was not impaired. Bartlett was cited for careless and negligent driving. He’s due in court in July. Troopers say they stopped another wrong-way a short time later in Lyndonville. Police used spikes to stop Sue Stuart, 79, of Monroe, New Hampshire, on Interstate 91. They say she was going south in the northbound lane. Stuart was cited for gross negligent operation and reckless endangerment. She’s also due in court in July.
