I-91 SB between exits 16 (Bradford) and 15 (Fairlee) is closed

Due to safety concerns surrounding a rockfall area on I-91 south near mile marker 92.4, I-91 SB between exits 16 (Bradford) and 15 (Fairlee) is closed and a signed detour in place. The Bradford Fire Department posted online information on Wednesday that the detour is expected to last about a week. Drivers will exit the interstate at exit 16 and travel south on Route 25 to US 5 where they will head south to the exit 15 on ramp. It is not yet known how long this closure will last. State geologists and maintenance staff are on the scene evaluating the situation and will be making repairs as soon as a plan is available.
