Timothy  Randall and Christopher Rice were charged with sexually assaulting a 16-year-old boy

Timothy  Randall and Christopher Rice were charged with sexually assaulting a 16-year-old boy in 2018. They both pleaded guilty during the sentencing on Wednesday to an amended charge of prohibited conduct. But they were not sentenced to prison. Both of them were fined just $300 and both were from Lyndonville. According to the plea agreements, there were also court surcharges for both. Defense Attorneys negotiated the plea agreement with the state. Randall pleaded not guilty in Caledonia County Superior Court to the 2018 felony charge of Sexual Assault – No Consent, and was released on conditions. A conviction for that charge would have been a minimum sentence of three years in prison and a maximum of life in prison, plus a $25,000 fine. Randall told investigators that he had three sexual encounters with the teen and that all of the encounters were consensual. According to an affidavit filed by the Vermont State Police Tpr. Marie Beland, Randall and Rice took off the teen’s clothes, held him down on a bed and sexually assaulted him. “The teen said that all of this had occurred at Randall and Rice’s residence, where their garage ‘Kingdom Imports’ was located.” Randall is listed as an owner of Kingdom Imports.
